This months challenge was to create a recipe using alcohol! Well, as many of you know, I am not a drinker! haha Two glasses of wine and I am knocked off my socks for 2 days straight ( I am actually not kidding about that!). That means that I also never have alcohol in my house other than a few bottles of wine that I brought back from my trip to Napa on my 30th birthday……YEARS ago! haha

However, I knew I wanted to do something fruity and summer inspired. I opened up a drawer in my kitchen Sunday and found a nip of some cherry liqeuer that my aunt brought back from her cruise on the Rhine River and I immediately knew it would go perfect in this dessert! Feel free to leave the alcohol out if you’d like — and add in some fresh cherries instead! I hope you enjoy! Have a great Tuesday! 🙂
