Welcome, friend! Thanks for stopping by! My name is Sarah. I wish I could tell you that my health journey was quick and easy, but as you will see here, it wasn’t. However, I am thankful for everything that I have been through, as it has lead me to the path I am on today and connecting with you!

I am a Certified Eating Psychology Coach, Certified Holistic Health Coach and Certified Intuitive Eating Coach.

I first attended the Institute For Integrative Nutrition in New York, studying dietary theories, contemporary health issues and topics, along with both Eastern and Western medicine. At IIN, I had the opportunity to learn from people such as Dr. Mark Hyman, Deepak Chopra, and Dr. David Katz.

After completing the IIN program, I attended the Institute for the Psychology of Eating in Colorado, where I became certified as an eating psychology coach. I studied weight, body image, over eating, binge eating, emotional eating, endless dieting, digestion, immunity, fatigue and more. I was trained to identify and work with so many of the hidden triggers that drive our unwanted eating habits and behaviors. With a solid foundation of knowledge in mind body nutrition and dynamic eating psychology, I am able to now work with clients to help find the missing link when it comes to food, body and general health concerns.

Most recently, I finished my certification as an intuitive eating counselor, which was completed through the Intuitive Eating Program in California. I was taught by one of the creators, Evelyn Tribole, who is a world-renowned dietician specializing in eating disorders, intuitive eating and celiac disease. It was in this program that I was able to bring together all of my education so that I can better help my clients end their battle with dieting, poor body image, calorie counting and thoughts of good and bad foods.

Tying my love of health to my love of food is also one of my biggest passions. I create and share simple and delicious recipes on my blog, Ingredients of a Fit Chick. Here you can find everything from breakfast to dessert, simple to savory! There is a little something for everyone!

Outside of my love for all of my work, which truly feels like fun to me, I am an avid runner, yogi, and all-around simple person. I enjoy cooking (simple and flavorful dishes, of course!), hiking, and traveling. I grew up spending my summers on the beaches of Cape Cod, and except during the cold months, there is no place else in the world I would rather be!

Despite the challenges I have faced, I count my blessings every day that I am surrounded by an amazing family, wonderful friends, and the ability to help others start living healthy from the inside out!
