Smokey Jicama Fries

Satisfy your french fry craving with this healthy and low carb recipe! It makes a great side dish to a lean burger like this or even this simple and delicious Fish N Chips dish!

Smokey Jicama Fries   Smokey Jicama FriesJicama Fries 1 Prep time 5 mins Cook time 50 mins Total time 55 mins   Author: Sarah Recipe type: Side Dish Serves: 2-3 servings Ingredients

  • 2 cups (260g) jicama
  • 2 tsp ghee
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ⅛ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp smoked spanish paprika
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ⅛ tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Pre heat oven to 425 degrees
  2. Peel jicama and slice into desired sahpe fries
  3. Add jicama, melted ghee and seasonings to a container and shake until coated
  4. Even spread fries on baking sheet
  5. Bake for 25 minutes
  6. Toss and return to the oven baking for an additional 25 minutes or utnil golden*

Notes *cooking time will vary depending on thickness of fries 3.2.2925
