Frozen Banana Cherry Bars
Serves: 4
Happy Thursday! I hope you’re having a great week and are having the same amazing weather that we are having over here in NJ! I can’t get over how gorgeous it is, which puts me in a fantastic mood AND makes me crave nothing but cold treats and salads like I mentioned yesterday! So today I decided to share with you one of the cold treats I have been snacking on! These frozen bars have been one of my ‘go-to’ snacks over the last few days! Just keep them sealed in the freezer and they are ready to enjoy any time! They are the perfect way to kick off summer tomorrow!
Fit Ingredients
- 1/2 c (130g) mashed banana
- 1/2 c (70g) cherries, finely chopped
- 1/4 c (28g) almond flour
- 1 1/2 tbs (9g) ground flax
- 2 tbs (14g) coconut flour
- 1/4 scoop (7g) vanilla protein powder

Directions
1. Mix everything together in a bowl until well combined.
2. Spread your mixture into a pan.
3. Freeze for ~6-8 hours.
4. Cut into individual bars. Wrap any uneaten bars in plastic wrap and seal in a ziplock bag in the freezer until ready to eat.
These bars are loaded with healthy ingredients, taste amazing, are super easy to make! Plus they are very refreshing on these hot days! Some cacao nibs would also be a great addition now that I am thinking about it! ?
