What I Ate Wednesday #10

Happy What I Ate Wednesday! Everyone’s favorite day of the week because we get to drool over the food that other people eat! haha At least i get lots of good ideas for new food combinations and recipes when I am wiping the drool from my mouth! ;) As you know from my post last week, my stomach was off for several days after coming home from Aruba! It really took a toll on me! Yesterday was the first day that I felt 99.9% back to myself! I think my appetite finally caught up too because I was starving all day! I think it is trying to make up for those 2-3 bad days where I could barely get anything down! Stomach bugs are NO FUN!! Anyway, I am happy to report that my meals should be a lot more exciting now that I am eating full time again! So for all of you who felt like my instagram food pictures were lacking, having no fear, I am back! :)

Meal #1

What I Ate Wednesday #10 Cinnamon Flax Pancake (that I slightly over cooked) + fresh blackberries + ricotta cheese sweetened with stevia + Justin’s Chocolate Hazelnut butter (My new addiction —it’s amazing!)

Meal #2

What I Ate Wednesday #10 Siggi’s yogurt #1 and almonds

Meal #3

What I Ate Wednesday #10 Tuna + grilled chicken breast + avocado + carrots + tomatoes + ricotta cheese + dijon mustard=One nice salad!!

Meal #4

What I Ate Wednesday #10 Fresh apple slices + Siggi’s #2 (not pictured)

Meal #5

What I Ate Wednesday #10 Taco Salad with 96/4% ground beef, butter lettuce, carrots, tomato, avocado, roasted red peppers and greek yogurt! Yummy!

Meal #6

What I Ate Wednesday #10 DESSERT!!!! But you will just have to wait until next Tuesday to see what this amazingly delicious little treat is! ;)

We are also sharing some of our summer staples….my two big things right now are Iced Coffee with Stevia (a new addiction thanks to the boyfriend) and Siggi’s Orange Ginger Skyr Greek Yogurt. I always have one yogurt every day and the Orange Ginger has always been my favorite, but since coming back from Aruba, it is like a requirement that I have at least 2 a day! I even made the boyfriend wait longer in the grocery store Saturday while I threw every single one they had on the shelf into my basket! Oooops! ;)
