Paleo Shrimp & Chorizo Cast Iron Pizza Prep time 5 mins Cook time 20 mins Total time 25 mins Author: Sarah Serves: 1 pizza Ingredients
- CRUST
- ¼ cup (30g) cassava flour
- 1 tsp ghee
- ¼ cup liquid egg whites
- ½ tsp baking powder
- seasonings, if desired
- TOPPINGS
- 2 oz SizzleFish shrimp
- 1oz sliced chorizo
- ¼ cup crushed tomatoes
- 1 tsp italian seasoning
- Salt & pepper, as desired
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees
- Combine all ingredients for crust
- Roll out dough
- Lay into bottom of cast iron skillet
- Bake for 10 minutes
- Combine crushed tomatoes and italian seasoning
- Remove crust from oven
- Spread top with pizza sauce, sliced chorizo and shrimp
- Bake for an additional 10 minutes
- Top with fresh basil
