It’s a SKOUT BAR Giveaway!!!

Happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend!! I decided that we would kick off this new week with an awesome giveaway from Skout!! As most of you know, I have been raving about these bars since I found them back in March at a Whole Foods in Arizona. I was sad when I got back to New Jersey and couldn’t find them here. Once my delicious stash ran out, I had to come up with an alternative….and this recipe was born! 
Well, wouldn’t you know, only a few days after I shared this recipe a wonderful girl named Katie at Skout reached out to me! She told me how much she enjoyed my recipe and that if I ever needed anything to let her know! Well, of course I needed something……I needed Skout bars in New Jersey! haha Since Skout bars are not in distribution in this area yet, she had an even better alternative — to send me some samples! Yes! The bars arrived in the mail and she sent me two sample bags!! However, I think the best part of the package was this letter…..
A hand written letter from Tony Pastega, one of the owners! Ok, now you all know how many brands I work with and how many products I have received to share with you, but I have never received a hand written letter, ever!! It was so nice to see a company taking the time to add such a personal touch! It really showed me how much they care about their consumers!!

Skout Bars come in 5 flavors:
Cherry & Vanilla
Chocolate & Coconut
Chocolate & Peanut Butter
Apple & Cinnamon
Blueberry & Almond
Honestly, they are all amazing!! There isn’t a single flavor that I don’t like! (Obviously because they sent me these bars 12 days ago and they are all gone! haha) They all have an amazing taste! Not only do they taste delicious, but they are healthy too! Inside the package was a nutrition sheet for the bars!
I know, it is hard to read here but the bars are:

*Dairy & Soy Free
*Loaded with naturally occurring protein, fiber and vitamins!
Does it really get much better than that?! I know many of you want to know the nutrition breakdown. This is the range on the bars. Most of them fall on the lower end of these numbers.
Calories: 170-200
Fat: 4g-9g
Sodium: 60-100mg
Carbs: 29-33g
Fiber: 4-5g
Protein: 3-5g
I paired mine with a greek yogurt and it made the perfect snack! Especially when I needed something quick while running out the door!
