Cheesy Baked Spaghetti Squash
This recipe is like a low carb, lasagna lovers dream! Quick, easy and packed with protein it makes the perfect dish for any week night dinner! OR make it and pack for lunch the next day! I gave mine a twist with some pizza seasoning, but feel free to use regular italian herbs if you choose!

- 1 spaghetti squash (about 1.5lbs in weight)
- 6 oz lean ground beef
- ½ cup favorite pasta sauce
- ⅓ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tbs pizza seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees
- Cut spaghetti squash in half and scrape out seeds
- Lay face down on a lined baking sheet
- Bake for ~45 minutes or until fork tender
- While squash is baking saute meat in a skillet
- Add in pasta sauce and seasoning
- When squash is done, use a fork to create ‘spaghetti’ strands by scraping the squash loose
- Toss with the meat and sauce mixture
- Top with cheese
- Place bake in oven until cheese is melted
- Serve hot
