Banana Chocolate Muffins

These muffins are the perfect combination of chocolate and banana….and they are filled with a surprise!
Fit Ingredients
- 1/4 c (33g) whole wheat flour
- 1/4 c (20g) chocolate protein ( I used this one)
- 1/4 c (20g) cocoa powder
- 1/4 c + 2 tbs sweetener of choice
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 large egg
- 3/4 c (170g) fat free greek yogurt
- 3/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp chocolate extract, optional
- 88g (mashed)+ 42g (sliced) banana (about 1 1/2 small bananas)

Directions
Pre heat your oven to 350 degrees. Spray your muffin tin with non stick spray. Mix your dry ingredients: WW flour, protein powder, cocoa powder, sweetener, baking soda and baking powder together in a bowl. In another bowl, mix your egg, greek yogurt, vanilla extract, chocolate extract and 88g of mashed banana together. Combine your wet and dry ingredients. Take half of your batter and divide it evenly among 6 muffin tins. Lay 1 slice of banana on top of the batter. Divide the remaining half of your batter between the 6 tins, making sure to cover the banana slice. Bake for 18 minutes.
These muffins came out so chocolatey!! They are wonderful alongside some vanilla greek yogurt!!
