Happy Thursday! I hope you are having a great week! Only two more days until the weekend!! I am so excited! But I think I am even more excited because we are expected to have amazing weather….61 on Saturday and 64 on Sunday WITH sunshine!! Fingers crossed that they are right! If so, this girl will be taking advantage and getting outside for some Vitamin D πŸ™‚

I decided to share this recipe with you today (after sharing the sneak peak yesterday) instead of making you wait until next week! So kind of me, I know πŸ˜‰ These bars are made with dark chocolate Nuttzo, that I received from this beautiful girl. The rich chocolate flavor works so perfectly with the hint of fresh raspberries! These bars have no added sugar (unless you want to add some), require no baking and are super easy to make! They are the perfect grab and go snack for me on my way to yoga! I hope you enjoy them! πŸ™‚

Fit Ingredients

  • 2c (160g) rolled oats (not instant)
  • 4 scoops (120g) chocolate protein powder
  • 1/2c (128g) Dark Chocolate Nuttzo
  • 1c (140g) raspberries, mashed
  • Sweetener, optional (I did not use any since the raspberries were sweet)

Directions

1. Heat your Nuttzo in a microwave safe dish for ~ 45 seconds (just so it is slightly melted).

2. Mix your oats and protein powder into your Nuttzo.

3. Use those muscles to mix until it is all blended.

4. Mix in your mashed raspberries.

5. Spread mixture into an 8×8 pan.

6. Freeze for 1 hour.

7. Slice bars and wrap individually.

8. Store in the freezer or refrigerator until ready to eat πŸ™‚

Look how thick and packed full of oats these are!! Love them! πŸ™‚

Dark chocolate and raspberries are my second favorite flavor combination to peanut butter and chocolate, so these bars are a HUGE success in my books! They had the perfect balance of deep, dark chocolate with a sweet and subtle hint of fresh raspberries! Sooo yummy! They weren’t overly sweet, which I liked, but as mentioned above, feel free to add in a sweetener if you want!

  • I actually just did a post on my April goals. Particularly to use my foam roller and increase my running distance :) Raspberry and choc together are always a winner!

  • LOVE the recipe but no Nuttzo in the house, :( I really can't afford it but I love the no peanuts flavor so much - of course the most expensive one! ;) I suppose I could sub my chunky PB from TJs! Now my homemade bars & muffins are not near as good as yours.. I am pretty boring in that regard but they work for me! No goals here - I am just trying to survive right now! ;)

  • OMG YUMMY! I have all the ingredients, but don't have the raspberries, but have some apples that need to used up, so may experiment with those. Maybe bake them, chop them, and then add to the mix...Could be interesting, but worth a shot! XOXO PS: yeah for sunshine!

  • Oh wow those sound good! I went through a phase where I loved chocolate and raspberries. Still do just don't enjoy it as often. I'll have to bring back the combo for this recipe though!

Those look fantastic!!! Yum :0). Don't have Nuttzo (never tried it's honestly much to pricey). I actually bought some coconut flour the other day to experiment with it cause I have heard so many wonderful things about it. I made protein chocolate raspberry bars. SSSSOOOO good!! Texture wasn't quite right so I want to play around with the recipe a bit more before I share but the flavor was definitely rockin.
